The second annual Womxn, Wellness and Cannabis Conference (WWC Conference), presented by Marigold Marketing & PR, took place across May 26th and 27th.

Created by women for women in celebration of the feminine cannabis and psychedelic experience, WWC Conference brought thought leaders together for engaging, open and transparent conversations, with 2,000 registrants enchanted by 80 speakers from 4 continents.

This year’s WWC Conference looked quite different from last year’s inaugural affair, held virtually across two days with day two dedicated entirely to psychedelics. The pioneering free virtual conference included live panel discussions, Q&As and bonus networking  opportunities, to connect and collaborate with industry experts.

Thought-provoking speaker line up

On the aptly described powerhouse “Compliant Marketing” panel, moderated by Heather Schurr (director of operations at CFN Media Group), Alison Gordon, (co-founder at Other People’s Pot) was joined by digital marketing expert Naveen Islam, Katie Pringle (co-founder at Marigold Marketing & PR) and Christine Smith (National Marketing and Strategy Manager at Spiritleaf), for a conversation on risk reduction and the invaluable contributions of women in cannabis.

Day two continued with a focus on psychedelics and plant medicines, particularly in regards to their ceremonial use. Conversations that reverberated throughout the day centred on the use of psychedelics in trauma recovery and global decriminalization efforts.

Psychedelics and Spirituality

On the “Psychedelics, Sacred Medicine, and Spirituality” panel, Reiki master Raven Marie (Awaken Your Soul), Kamya Buch (founder of Psychedelic Society of India) Rachael Carlevale (founder of Ganjasana Plant Medicine School) and Zoe Helene (founder at Cosmic Sister) discussed holistic wellness and shared invaluable insights on how to live a fulfilled spiritual life.

In addition to a host of fascinating panel discussions, the conference included an infused cooking class with Necole Hines (CEO of Faded Living), which further demonstrated WWC Conference’s commitment to create a platform for free cannabis education. The biggest and best virtual event for women in cannabis and psychedelics, this year’s conference was supported by partners from across the adjacent industries, including Lift & Co. Expo, Flow Scientific, VIVO Cannabis, Flower Stampede and Edica Naturals.
