The first annual New Heights Cannabis Tourism Summit brought together the cannabis and tourism industries for the first time to discuss the future possibilities of cannabis tourism in Canada. The day-long summit was put on by JLM Strategic Marketing in partnership with Tourism Industry Association Ontario (TIAO). Marigold Marketing & PR supported the New Heights Cannabis Tourism Summit through PR efforts. Tactics included pitching media, garnering interviews with their team and chosen speakers/partners and supporting with live on-site engagement.
The key objective was to raise brand awareness and drive media coverage for New Heights Cannabis Tourism Summit and their partners. Through press releases, building extensive media lists and pitching to targeted local, tourism and cannabis media, Marigold garnered an overwhelming amount of media coverage for the event.
The campaign for the event was a hit with an astounding 46.4M impressions, 83M social reach, 8 custom media stories, and 122 media pick-up during the five-week campaign.
